USA, New Jersey – New Yorker Electronics has announced the release of the Orion Fans’ Harsh Environment AC and DC Fan Series, which has an IP68 rating. Axial fans by Orion Fans are available in a range of frame sizes and feature a watertight construction to withstand severe environments. The motor’s IP68 rating guarantees absolute immunity to dust and other particulate matter, permitting it to remain submerged in water for a maximum depth of three meters. Specialized features, including alarms, tachometers, thermistor speed controls, and temperature sensors, are accessible via the DC Fans.
Designed for rigorous wash-down applications, these Orion severe Environment AC/DC Fans are ATEX-certified for Zone 2 and other severe environments.
